Her brother-in-law was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and she also sustained a shoulder injury that proved difficult to heal. Stress at work hit an all-time high, and Alison found herself juggling family responsibilities, grief, and physical pain.
But through it all, she didn’t give up.
“My coach adapted everything for my shoulder injury, and that support kept me going. Even through my most difficult moments, I knew I wasn’t alone. My coach was there to guide me, help me adjust, and remind me of the bigger picture.”

This past year, Alison achieved some incredible physical feats that she never thought possible. She completed the South West Coast Path with her friends, a grueling 630-mile hike. Even though she was reluctant for fear she would hold others back, Alison found herself keeping pace with friends who regularly do triathlons.
“I also walked through the Via Spluga, and I climbed up the side of a waterfall 170 meters high despite being terrified of heights. I never would have attempted that before.”
Alison’s transformation wasn’t just physical—it was deeply mental. Her success with Trinity helped her break through fears and self-doubt, allowing her to embrace life fully, even in the face of adversity. She’s also entered national awards and won, including Transformation of the Year, a true testament to how much she has achieved.
As Alison put it:
