Why Isabel Chose Trinity

Before joining Trinity, Isabel felt like she was at a breaking point. Living in rural Herefordshire, near the Welsh border, Isabel had spent years working with horses, a lifelong passion.

She loved riding and competing in dressage—an equestrian sport that requires both physical fitness and mental sharpness. But as she entered her 50s, Isabel found herself struggling to keep up with the demands of the sport she loved.

“I was at a point where I thought I’d have to give up horse riding. I was spending most of my time slumped on the sofa, playing Candy Crush and feeling like my life was slipping away. After a career in conferences and exhibitions, she had to step back from work because of the brain fog and exhaustion brought on by perimenopause. Day by day, Isabel felt herself becoming more disconnected from the things she loved.

“I was amazed you could eat anything you like, as long as you stay within your calorie allowance. It took a while to get used to, but I loved trying new foods that I’d never eaten before!”

This method makes weight loss sustainable because it doesn’t rely on willpower alone. You’re not following a diet that leaves you feeling deprived. Instead, you’re empowered with the knowledge of how to eat mindfully and enjoy your food, while also seeing results on the scale.

2. Low Impact Strength Training (LIST)

Not everyone enjoys intense workouts, and that’s okay. At Trinity, we don’t believe in hours of gruelling cardio or extreme bootcamp-style sessions. Instead, we use Low Impact Strength Training (LIST)—a highly effective and sustainable way to build muscle, boost metabolism, and burn fat without the need for high-impact exercises that can be tough on your joints.

Isabel wasn’t a fan of intense workouts, so she was relieved to find that Trinity doesn’t require them crazy cardio sessions or endless hours at the gym.

“I’ve never been one for exercising madly, but now I really look forward to my workouts, I even bought a barbell and set up a bench in the garage!”
