Easy home-made electrolyte mix:

  • Water: 500 ml (approx. 1 pint)
  • Himalayan / Rock Salt: 0.75 g (a generous pinch, or ~1/8 tsp)
  • Lemon Juice (ideally fresh): 1 tablespoon (15 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon honey or sugar (~4 g) or 2 tablespoons 100% orange juice

This gives you a low-sugar and low-carbohydrate electrolyte mix with adequate sodium to drive rapid cellular hydration without GI distress or blood sugar spikes.
