Trinity Case Study:
How Esther Dropped 2 Dress Sizes & Got Her Strength Back
Esther (48), Data Analyst
“I am now a dress size 8-10, a loss of 2 dress sizes. I put on my wedding dress this week (married 25 years ago) and if anything, it is a little roomy. My husband and I are enjoying the new curves!”
Despite trying ever-more-extreme diets, when Esther joined us she was struggling with weight gain, MS fatigue, and a sense of isolation. She felt stuck, hiding her body in clothes that covered her stomach and relying on a mobility scooter to walk her dogs or see friends. After joining TRINITY, she dropped nearly 8kg, regained her waistline, and found a strength she never expected. Now a size 8–10, she’s walking for an hour without help, can slip back into her wedding dress, and most importantly, finally free to enjoy life again – no scooter, no shame, just strength, confidence and curves she’s proud of.

The 3 Steps Esther Followed to Drop 2 Dress Sizes at 48...
When Esther joined, she was frustrated. She’d tried everything from calorie counting to keto, but nothing was working anymore. On top of that, her Multiple Sclerosis meant fatigue was a constant battle, and she’d avoided exercise for years because she didn’t believe her body could handle it. Like many women in their 40s and 50s, she felt stuck, uncomfortable, and unsure if change was even possible. We needed to completely rethink her approach to nutrition, exercise and lifestyle – so it worked with her body, not against it.
Step 1 – Diet Overhaul
When Esther started with us, she’d already spent months trying restrictive diets like keto, only to see minimal progress before plateauing and regaining weight. Previous calorie counting approaches were also overly restrictve and missing out on key nutrients needed during perimenopause. Instead of cutting more food or adding more rules, we simplified everything. We set Esther up with a clear, structured nutrition plan tailored to her body and goals. There were no extreme restrictions or foods she “couldn’t” eat—just a flexible system she could follow consistently without feeling deprived. This broke her free from the all-or-nothing cycle she’d been stuck in and allowed her to finally see steady, reliable progress again.
Step 2 – Strategic Workouts
Before Trinity, Esther wasn’t exercising at all. With MS-related fatigue limiting her ability to walk for more than 30 minutes, the idea of starting a workout programme felt overwhelming and something she believed she simply wouldn’t be able to stick to. So instead of long, exhausting sessions, we introduced short, low-impact strength workouts that were designed to be manageable, even on low-energy days. Each session was simple, structured, and her coach instructed her on how to adapt each session depending on how she felt, removing the pressure to be perfect. This allowed Esther to build strength gradually and safely. She went from struggling to walk for half an hour, she can now walk for up to an hour before fatigue sets in, giving Esther her independence back.
Step 3 – Coaching & Accountability
With Esther’s condition, fluctuating energy levels, and busy life, consistency wasn’t something that could be left to chance. Having a coach there each week guiding, adjusting, and supporting her made all the difference. Esther’s coach Natasha provided accountability without pressure or judgement, helping her to tweak things and stay on track even during difficult periods. As always, everything was tailored around Esther – her workouts, her nutrition, and her pace – so she never felt overwhelmed or like she was failing. Instead of guessing what to do or blaming herself when things didn’t work, Esther always knew exactly what steps to take next. This meant she could stay consistent, build momentum, and keep progressing, no matter what life threw at her. Now she’s slimmer than she was when she got married in her 20s and able to live life to the fullest again for the first time in years.

7 ½ Stone Down At Age 48
“I was originally a size 20/22 and am now wearing a size 8-10. I've lost over 7 ½ stone and gone from BMI of over 40, classed as severely obese, to a BMI of 22, well within the healthy range.
Everything has changed - not just my body but my attitude, my confidence, my energy - everything. I know these changes are not short term, they are for good. My brain feels rewired and the mindset work was the key for me.”
Size 14 -> Size 8 At Age 57
"I had got really out of control in terms of my weight, my health and my stress levels. When I joined TRINITY I was a proper size 14. I’m now a size 8 which is beyond what I wanted to achieve.
My marriage is a lot better, I’m much happier with that side of things. Work wise, we’ve had the best year profit wise that we’ve ever had and I don’t think it can be just a coincidence – the thing that’s changed is me!"
45lbs Down At Age 44
“I’ve gone from 11st 3.5 to 8 stone! I bought my first size 8 clothes and still amazed they fit. I’m now a role model to my kids. They see how much effort I put in and see and comment on how well I have done.
I never feel hungover anymore so I'm always ready for the day whatever happens and I have been able to help out with all of my family, including late night trips to hospital. I feel empowered and strong, and ready to make bigger choices, own my life and get back to being me.”
5 Stone Down At Age 52
“I know it’s a cliche, but Trinity has actually transformed my life. I’ve lost 30kg. I’ve lost 21 cm around my waist, 5cm around my arms and 12cm round my thighs.
I joined to lose weight. What I didn’t expect was for my life to change quite so much and for the better.”
42lbs Down At Age 48
“Now I’m 60-61kgs and a dress size 10. I look and feel like my pre-pregnancy self. My friends and family say I look like I did before or how I looked when they first met me in UK (2002). I have no knee pain, no feet pain.
I used to open the wardrobe and think ‘what fits’ and hated that. I now look in my wardrobe and it’s ‘what shall I wear today’!”
